Before you buy

Section 118, briefly

Under Section 118 of the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, a person who is not an agriculturist of Himachal Pradesh generally needs the State Government’s permission to buy land in the state. Permission is granted for specified purposes and usually carries conditions, including a period within which construction must begin.

We prepare and file the application, and we will not take a deposit on a parcel before you understand what the process involves and how long it typically takes.
